Here's a little about me, Kevin Berghoff:

I grew up in the Hannibal, MO then later Alton, IL where I attended Catholic grade schools, Marquette Catholic High School, Lewis & Clark Community College, and SIUE.

I taught 2nd grade, but I went into radio "to make more money."  That was almost 25 years ago...and I'm still not at that "make more money" spot ;) But it's not about money, it's about love, and I do really LOVE my job and the great Y98 Morning Show crew that I get to work with every morning!

When I first started at Y98 back in 1999, I was "single and ready to mingle." I was interested in a clerk, who worked at a vitamin/supplement store in a local mall. Since I didn't think she'd be impressed with my "radio talents," I tried a different approach when asking her out. I purchased an item at her store and struck up a conversation. The item I chose was COLON CLENSE. Needless to say that a date never happened, but it did keep me regular for quite some time.

I'm married to the lovely Sara (Williams) Berghoff who teaches 5th grade in the Hazelwood School District. We have two children, Jackson and Kennedy. Jackson is the typical boy who is into everything! Kennedy is deaf, but hears with cochlear implants. She attended CID (the Central Institute For The Deaf) for almost four years and now is doing quite well in the Jerseyville School District (as any proud Dad would say).

We live in Grafton, Illinois, spend our summers at Raging Rivers where "It's Cool When It's Hot" and I continue to put a lot of MILES in driving to work, but it's worth it!
