Opening Day in St. Louis is basically a national holiday, and when the sea of red gathers in downtown St. Louis, it's not just baseball on their minds - it's food! While you're gearing up for the home opener at our HUGE rally in Kiener Plaza, make sure you leave room to try all the delicious food and beverage options we'll have on-site.

Main dishes

Sugarfire Smokehouse: Do we even need to explain why you should eat Sugarfire Smokehouse on Opening Day? We didn't think so. These BBQ masterpieces have become legandary in St. Louis. Their brisket, pulled pork or turkey paired with any of the signature sauces makes for an amazing meal before heading to the ballpark. Plus don't miss delicious sides like potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans. Yum!

Dirty Dogz: What's a baseball game without a hot dog? Dirty Dogz aren't your average hot dogs. You can get everything from a classic all-beef hot dog to a veggie dog, bratwurst or kielbasa. Then there are the topping choices - start with the standard toppings like banana peppers, onions and warm sauerkraut, then work your way into premium toppings like melted nacho cheese, chili, crushed Fritos, wing sauce and so many others!

Farmtruk: The Farmtruk food truck is bringing the farm-to-table concept to the St. Louis streets. They partner with local farmers to create classic dishes with a twist. Try the mojo pork panini with chili brined ham, pulled pork, swiss cheese and citrus cabbage slaw or the brisket tacos with pickled jalepenos, red onion cabbage slaw and avocado cream. They also have a chicken pot pie and sausage stuffed beignets

Essentially Fries: An entire food truck dedicated to handcut french fries?!? Yes, please! Try the classic fries topped with chopped garlic, grana padano cheese, smoked ketchup and truffle aioli or the poutine with cheese curds, chopped bacon and bacon gravy. Want to spice things up? Go for the buffalo chicken fries which are covered with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, buttermilk dressing and blue cheese crumbles.

Dessert

St. Louis Kolache: If there was an in between main dish and dessert category, that's probably where St. Louis Kolache would be. They have plenty of savory kolaches you could choose for a main dish, but they're also well-known for their sweet kolaches. Sweet kolaches include apple pie, blueberry, cherry & toasted almond, apricot, cream cheese and cherry cream cheese. Specialties include the Chocolate Elvis, Allen & Ann gooey butter cake, s'mores and cinnamon rolls.

Scoops & More: Grab a refreshing Italian ice before you head to the stadium from Scoops & More! They have a ton of flavors, including blue raspberry, mango and strawberry kiwi, just to name a few.

Half Baked Cookie Dough: Who doesn't love raw cookie dough? It's the best part of baking! Now there's a safe (no raw eggs) way to enjoy it as a dessert on Opening Day! The Half Baked Cookie Dough Truck serves up an edible cookie dough base, like chocolate chip, sugar cookie or brownie and then gives you endless topping options to make your own delicious half-baked dessert.

Beverages

The beverage options at our Opening Day Rally are practically endless. Our home opener party will feature Miller Lite, Coors Lite, Blue Moon and Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, which is tastes like summer in beer form.

There will also be local brews available from Urban Chestnut, including Urban Underdog and Schnickelfritz.

Barefoot wine will be there with Sangria Spritzers, Summer Red Spritzers, Rose Spritzers, Moscato Spritzers and Crisp White Spritzers.

The drink options don't end there! Look for Pinnacle Vodka, Sauza Signature Blue Tequila, Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey cocktails and Ubons Bloody Mary’s.

And if you drink a little too much, make sure to grab a Morning Recovery drink. There will be plenty on site.
