Trick To Stop Impulse Buying

The next time you're about to buy something you don't really need, take a few seconds and think about something you ALREADY own and enjoy using.  A new study found it reduces our urge to make impulse buys.

While most were small indulgences, 54 percent said they’d dropped $100 or more and 20 percent said they’d spent at least $1,000. Consumers spend an average of $450 a month on impulse buys, according to a SlickDeals survey released in February — stacking up to $5,400 a year.
