Lyft Is Helping Cancer Patients

Lyft is giving cancer patients FREE rides to their appointments.

June 22, 2018

Last fall, Lyft started offering cancer patients free rides to-and-from their treatments in Miami and Vegas.  Now they're expanding to more cities, including St. Louis, L.A., Philadelphia, Houston, Cincinnati, Denver, Atlanta, and parts of New Jersey.

According to CBS News, "Lack of transportation remains one of the biggest roadblocks to receiving high-quality cancer care," an American Cancer Society spokesperson told Cincinnati Enquirer. "Our expanded partnership with Lyft will help us provide more cancer patients with access to potentially lifesaving treatments."
