In 2007, when the band dropped their eighteenth single, “Love so Sweet” that’s when Arashi began to experience major commercial success and a stan following.

Last year the band launched all their music across social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok in order to reach a younger, and international fan base with a heavy “stan” mentality.

After releasing the documentary, Arashi’s Diary, on Netflix in 2019, the band announced they'd be taking a hiatus, to begin this coming December. However, before the hiatus begins, Arashi is still giving us new music and celebrating 20 years of being a prominent J-Pop boy band.

Their most recent single “Whenever You Call” came out of the band’s reboot and a collaboration with Bruno Mars. The single which dropped in September, garnered a whopping 10 million views on Youtube.

Do not miss Arashi this Friday at 8:30 PM ET/ 5:30 PM PT, only with RADIO.COM.
