Ladies, you now have some science-backed bragging rights: Women can EXERCISE for longer than men before getting tired, according to a new scientific review.

This was surprising to me when you think of how muscle-bound some men can get. But it’s women’s muscles that tend to be more resistant to fatigue than men’s (according to Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, a research journal), which means they can perform at the same relative intensity for a longer duration.

This explains why my wife and I can both go running and I’m ready to collapse much sooner – and neither of us have been in great shape.
