A former “American Idol” contestant won “The Voice”.
For the first time ever, a former “American Idol” contestant won “The Voice” last night. Sundance Head brought it home for Team Blake. Team Adam’s Billy Gilman was second, followed by Team Alicia’s Wé McDonald.
This is Blake Shelton’s 5th win . . . the most of any coach. Adam Levine has three victories, while Usher, Pharrell Williams, and Christina Aguilera have one apiece.
Sundance was on “Idol” nine years ago. He’s the son of singer Roy Head, of “Treat Her Right” fame.
