Matthew McConaughey may be a Lincoln spokesman, but he seemed happy to be driving a golf cart at his alma mater on Monday night when he gave some students at the University of Texas at Austin a safe ride home. The Oscar-winning actor–who’s been serving as a guest film instructor at UT–volunteered for the school’s SURE Walk program, which accompanies students back to their homes at night. The school’s student government advertised McConaughey’s volunteerism on Twitter that night, writing alongside a picture of him behind the wheel of a golf cart, “Always use @SUREWalk when walking home from campus at night…you never know who will be driving!”
