Holiday Trees! Many people think purchasing a plastic tree over cutting a real one down is more friendly to the environment, but it depends.

A lot of people choose plastic Christmas trees thinking the durability and convenience of fake Christmas trees makes them more attractive than the alternative of buying a new tree every year.

Plastic tree owners also believe they’re helping the environment by saving a tree that would otherwise be cut down. But a life-cycle analysis conducted in Canada found that you’d need to use your fake tree for 20 years for it to be considered more environmentally friendly than your yearly evergreen.

That is very interesting.
