Santa’s House: Since 1963, Santa Claus has enjoyed a house of his own in Downtown Belleville where children could come in and out of the blustery cold weather to bring their Christmas list personally to Santa and tell of all the things they hoped he might bring them for Christmas. November 25th – December 24th

73. Celebration of Lights: This beautiful holiday display features more than 1 million sparkling colored lights decorated on trees and scenes along a one-mile route through Fort Zumwalt Park. Carriage and train rides are available by reservation. Admission is $10 per car. November 25th – December 30th

74. Cut Down Your Own Christmas Tree At Eckert’s: Experience a crisp winter’s day in the beauty of Eckert’s lush evergreen forest as you search for the perfect Christmas tree! Our full-service Christmas tree farm provides free shaking and baling of your tree. We provide saws, you provide the elbow-grease! Gloves are recommended. Opens November 25th.

75. Cut Down Your Own Christmas Tree At Sunbrite: Sunbrite Farm offers a real country forest experience, just five minutes off Highway 70 in St. Charles County. Stroll through 70 acres of pine, spruce and fir trees to choose the perfect one for your home. Sunbrite has trees up to 22 feet tall.

76. Cut Down Your Own Christmas Tree At Meert Tree Farm: Choose-and-cut trees at Meert are priced at $5-$9 per foot, depending on the variety. Select from Scotch, White Pine, Canaan Fir, Norway Spruce or pre-cut Fraser Fir trees. Saws are provided and your tree will be wrapped. On weekends, Meert has mini-train rides for the kids, wagon rides out to the tree farm and a Christmas shop. November 25th – December 23rd

Cut Down Your Own Christmas Tree At Heritage Valley Farm: If your family has time to enjoy a drive out to Washington, MO, in the heart of wine country, you will be rewarded with a lovely Christmas experience at Heritage Valley Farm. Enjoy some hot chocolate, apple cider or a fresh-baked cookie in the 150-year-old log house on the property (decorated for the holidays, of course). Then head out to the beautiful wooded acres to choose a Canaan Fir, White Pine or Norway Spruce tree for your family’s holiday. November 25th – December 18th

Pick Out A Christmas Tree At Sullivan Farms: Sullivan Farms operates several pre-cut tree lots in the St. Louis area, but the one in Florissant is unique. This lot is set up to give the look and feel of a live forest, with more than 300 trees. Local delivery is free. Sullivan offers about a dozen varieties of trees, from tabletop size to 16 feet tall. If you don’t have time to drive out to a real farm, you can get a tree farm experience at this city lot. Opens November 25th. 

79. Skiing at Hidden Valley: Bring your family and friends along to ride the lanes of Polar Plunge at Hidden Valley in Wildwood! Imagine the fun of sliding down a 1200 foot long slope and then hop onto 1 of 2 conveyor carpets, for a ride back to the top. Opening in December, weather dependent.

Steinberg Ice Rink: Steinberg Skating Rink is the largest outdoor ice skating rink in the Midwest, offering public skating all day, everyday—including all holidays and no matter what the weather is like. There is public skating all day, everyday. When you’re done skating, stop by the Snowflake Cafe for snacks and sandwiches, hot chocolate and adult beverages.
