Pet-acular Holiday Bazaar: Shop for unique holiday gifts from local artisans, watch exciting demonstrations of canine flying disc and duck herding and enjoy fun games activities for children and dogs at Purina Farms during the Pet-acular Holiday Bazaar. Santa Paws will also be on-site to take photos with kids and dogs and there will be a special “Breakfast & Craft Workshop with Santa” from 9:30 a.m. -11 a.m. each day. Admission and parking are FREE. December 3rd & 4th

52. Holiday Parlor Tour: Don’t miss this year’s Lafayette Square Holiday Parlor Tour. The historic homes of Lafayette Square will be decorated in their finest for the holiday season. A true St. Louis holiday tradition, the home tour is a unique annual event showcasing one of the largest collections of Victorian homes in the nation. December 11th

53. Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker At Powell Hall: Concertmaster David Halen shines as soloist in a suite of beloved selections from Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Plus the entire family will enjoy music from Act II from The Nutcracker featuring projected visuals presented in partnership with the Webster University Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts. December 2nd-4th

54. KMOX Holiday Radio Show: Each December in honor of its anniversary, KMOX writes, directs, produces, performs and airs a live radio play. Similar to The Grand Ol Opry or Prairie Home Companion, KMOX Radio is the only station in the country still producing a program reminiscent of old-time radio which brings the art form of great programming and the holiday spirit together. A KMOX tradition for listeners and on-air personalities, the Holiday Radio Show anticipated event marks the beginning of the holiday season. December 12th

55. Garden Glow: Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden features a million lights surrounding visitors with a spectacle of unique installations amid some of the Garden’s most iconic locations. Enjoy interactive photo opportunities, traditional holiday music and festivities, delicious food and drinks and more as the Garden is transformed around you into a winter wonderland. November 19th – January 1st

56. Riverfront Times Holiday Spirits: Don’t miss Holiday Spirits at Delmar Hall, featuring a variety of spirits from local, regional and worldwide distilleries. Guests will enjoy winter-themed cocktails, light bites, live music and much more. December 17th

57. Holiday Night Lights: Head to Wentzville and walk their one-mile light display, experiencing enchanted scenes, twinkling lights and holiday-themed music! Refreshments and photo opportunities with Santa will also be available. Tickets may be purchased in advance here.

58. Imaginary Theater Company’s A Gnome for Christmas: When Lulu’s quirky father fails to sell yet another of his odd inventions, the pair must pack their bags and move to more meager accommodations. All they can afford is a rundown old farmhouse where the fence needs mending and the landlord’s cranky, even at Christmastime! Lulu’s about ready to give up, but when mysterious and magical things start happening. This warm-hearted holiday musical reminds us of the importance of helping others and the happiness found in friends. Public performances December 17, 18, 22 & 23 at Heagney Theatre at Nerinx Hall High School.

59. Christmas Wonderland: Hear the sleigh bells jingle and see 3 million lights twinkle amongst a beautiful backdrop at Rock Spring Park’s Christmas Wonderland. Back for another year to warm the hearts and holiday spirits of families and friends, the park will be lighting the way to another illuminating holiday season beginning November 25th December 27th.
